Pat's Iris Quilt
Here's a close-up.
A donation quilt by Pat.
Sherry started this table runner about ten years ago when she took a class and was looking for input on finishing it.
Sherry's sister did these embroidered biblical blocks and gave them to her to make into a quilt.
Patti wanted to use up some of her stash to make this quilt.
Close-up of center.
Elaine's black and white sampler.
Close-up of stitching.
Here's Loraine's 30's quilt again.
Close-up of her embroidery work.
Brenda's (left) quilt from a kit that she bought on a shop hop road trip. Loraine (right) bought (and finished) the same kit.
Here's the back.
Loraine longarm quilted this for Brenda.
Brenda bought this kit in West Virginia.
Brenda used crayons to color the flowers.
Kathy was a visitor from Big Tree, near Jasper, and brought a stack and wack that she had started to show us.
For some reason she is not happy with it and says she will probably make it a donation quilt.
Kathy said she will be heading back to Alaska for the summer...hopefully she will stop back when she returns this fall.
On February 22nd, we will meet at the First Methodist Church in Ellijay and will have a program presented by Veronica. She will show us how to make a pentagon block quilt using a Quilt As You Go method.
